Following their 2-1 loss at the hands of Power Dynamos in the local Zambian derby, Nkana FC coach Beston Chembeshi says his men will bounce back.

Nkana suffered the defeat in the Zambian Super League on Monday, but the boss has insisted that his men have a strong mentality to bounce back.

Ronald Kampamba scored a stunner, but it was not enough to secure a result for Nkana whilst Reagan Nkuy and Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba scored the goals for Abayellow.

Chambeshi admitted that losing a local derby can have a negative effect on the players and they may need to be psyched up.

“My players are very strong mentally and can come back and give out a different result in the next game but we need to psyche them because this is a local derby and it can put their morale down,” he said to ZambianFootball.

”It’s early in the season so despite losing a derby we cannot put our heads down we need to look forward to the next game.”

Up next for Nkana is a clash against Zesco United in the league on Saturday, April 7.
