Ndidi pens new six-year contract with Leicester City

English Premier League club Leicester City confirmed on Sunday evening that influential midfielder Wilfred Ndidi had signed a new six-year deal with the club, the new contract keeps him at the King Power Stadium until 2024.
Ndidi, who joined the Foxes from KRC Genk in January 2017, has enjoyed huge personal success in his time at the club thus far,.
The 21-year-old was named the Club’s Young Player of the Year for the past two seasons, and has firmly established himself as a club favourite in the process.
The Nigeria international has racked up 63 appearances for the club, netting four goals and assisting a five. Furthermore, he was last season’s most successful tackler in the Premier League – underlining his quality both going forward and in defence.
“I’m very happy to sign this contract with Leicester City,” Ndidi told LCFC.com.
“I have enjoyed every moment of my time with the Football Club, so I’m thrilled to be here for six more years. Together with my team-mates and our wonderful supporters, I hope we can look forward to many more fantastic moments.”
