Senegal and Colorado Rapids striker Dominique Badji has been named in the Major League Soccer Team of the Week.

The 25-year-old was on song this past weekend after netting a hat-trick for Rapids in a 3-0 win over the Philadelphia Union.

Badji had the Audi Player Index Performance of the Week, earning 1,049 points, which is the best in MLS and scored with a 100 percent rate on the night.

He secured 909 points in the process as he engaged in a remarkable 16 aerial duels, winning six of them while also completing 11 passes in the final third.

The West African joins the likes of Germany and Chicago Fire’s Bastian Schweinsteiger and Swedish veteran Zlatan Ibrahimovic who recently joined Los Angeles Galaxy in the Team of the Week.
